CivicEvolution™ Collaboration

Countywide Community Forums partnered with CivicEvolution during August, 2009, to test and demonstrate their online ability to help identify issues around our topic of Public Safety: Law and Justice. We used it to develop questions to ask six elected officials appearing before a audience of Citizen Councilors during a taping at KCTS 9 Public Broadcasting studios in Seattle, and also to direct the development of the final Opinionnaire® survey that was answered by all Citizen Councilors during their face-to-face forums.
In Phase 1 (August 1 through August 4), Countywide Community Forums worked with CivicEvolution to help identify the issues Citizen Councilors are interested in as they relate to the topic of Round 4: Public Safety: Law and Justice.
In Phase 2 (August 6 through August 23), Citizen Councilors were asked to help develop specific questions that were then recommended to the County Auditor to be included in the Opinionnaire® survey that was prepared and distributed to all participants at their face-to-face small group meetings in September.
